The product I received was not exactly the same as the product shown in the picture. There were only 4 latches for the side panels, there were no bottom latches. So the instructions were bad. 1 star for poor instructions. What you need to know: The panels appear opaque thanks to the safety film on both sides. You have to pull them off. I picked up the film with my fingernail starting at the corner. First I assembled the bottom, front and side panels. Do not over tighten the screws as you will need to bend the side panels to fit the back panel. Tighten the screws when all 4 plates are in place. The top covers just lie flat and nothing is holding them in place. They can easily knock over an anemone or a goldfish. "I'm using it as a mushroom box, so it should work. - Overall, this is a very good box for the price.
