Arrived Broken: Fish & Aquatic Animals

Pieces hanging on the edge of the aquarium arrived broken in half. The broken pieces weren't even in the box so I couldn't glue them together. I had to improvise and use old parts to make it work. 0/10 will not buy again. Get what you pay for I think.

Rimless tanks only

Neat box. Well built. My only complaint is that it doesn't fit the standard tank with the black plastic rim. Also, it's clear acrylic, other reviews didn't remove the sticker as they said the acrylic was cloudy. Take off the sticker from the people. Just on the head!

Opaque as described

The product appears to work well but is made of plastic parts which are easy to assemble even with only Chinese instructions. I ended up sending it back because the description says it's transparent but the photo shows it's absolutely not transparent.

Remove the protective plastic sheets from both sides of each part.

The box itself is transparent and of excellent quality! Very easy to assemble, but YOU MUST REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE LAYER FROM BOTH SIDES OF EACH PART. I used a razor to gently pry open a small area in the corners and it came off easily. The only suggestion I would make would be to make the mounting hooks a bit wider to fit all sizes of holes in the lid. My hood has a hem and one of the hooks broke when I tried to pull it over the hem. However, it still works great when a hook is attached.

Updated Review: Bad instructions but great product

Replaces my previous review for missing parts. The CLEARY package description photo shows 8 clip-on clips. I only got 5 and asked Revane to bring a replacement here today. Decided to collect as many as possible as I removed the plastic protection from this one that I received and just took the 'missing' clips and finished. Well I just ignored the useless instructions and assembled it, I realized you only need 4 bars to assemble it! The construction took about 15 minutes, looks very nice. Inโ€ฆ

Wrong instruction best for fish and aquatic animals

The product I received was not exactly the same as the product shown in the picture. There were only 4 latches for the side panels, there were no bottom latches. So the instructions were bad. 1 star for poor instructions. What you need to know: The panels appear opaque thanks to the safety film on both sides. You have to pull them off. I picked up the film with my fingernail starting at the corner. First I assembled the bottom, front and side panels. Do not over tighten the screws as you willโ€ฆ

Ah, time. Time is our most valuable resource here on earth. While we all value it differently, we certainly all attach some importance to it. And if you are one of those who do, then you should not buy this product. For example, how much is an hour of your time worth? Approximately how much does this insulating box cost on Amazon? Maybe more? Think about it and list the dollar value and then add that to the price of this product because that's at least how long it would take you to assembleโ€ฆ
