Wrong bottom plate holes
The correct distance from the end of the bed to the centerline of the rack hole in the GMC is 5 inches. Someone made a hole in the base plates that was 3.5 inches less than an inch and a half, so they made a second hole that was 6.5 inches less than an inch and a half more than vice versa. It requires a machine shop to modify properly.
