Okay, it's a cutter. All I can say is that it cuts great and I've never had a problem with Frued Bits. I run a custom furniture business and all the tools are trained. So far all fruit cutters have held the blade well and I recommend it to everyone. Killing a $10,000 custom-made bed for the $15 price difference between cheap and quality just isn't worth it.
