I got this kit first because I wanted to try the 20v line from Dewalt, I used 18v and I liked it, also my current cobalt 24 V-Line had few tools at its disposal. since i got this set i regret it, the drill has no power to drill, i almost burned it, and the saw burned on first real use, i'm still waiting for dewalt repair shop after warranty, small batteries are rubbish, if you plan on using them this daily so i got an aftermarket one for 1/4 the price of dewalt batteries and works great. The most used tool for me is the stamp, grinder and flashlight which work for close range detection. I understand the XR is better but I think I'll go back to 24v cobalt or milwaukee because you can work as hard as your tools and they don't work for the price. will also say the speaker is good but if you want a radio your salt as half dewalt radios have unwanted speakers
