Review on Dorman 741-691 Power Window Motor and Regulator Assembly - Front Passenger Side, Black - Fits Select Models by Robert Prix

I installed these two OEM replacement units on the driver and passenger side of a GMC Envoy. The original devices would hardly have moved the window in winter (especially with temperatures below freezing). These new blocks are stronger than the old originals and can move windows with ice and snow (but they cannot be stopped). nicked/scratched the inside of the window after installation. I solved this problem by taking a dremel rotary tool and cutting off about 1/4 inch from the top corner of the rail/s. The geometry of the rails does not quite correspond to the originals. A working solution, but uncomfortable when scratched. Window (you can tell by the squeak when the window is raised/lowered) a mediocre design with one assembly flaw to be aware of before purchasing.
