Great HDD with decent speed. Check out my video review above

This is my fourth WD Gold drive and so far I have no complaints. I've used almost all major hard drive brands. I've learned the hard way what fails a hard drive. For this reason, it is extremely important to have a backup copy. I hope the WD Gold drives are as reliable as they claim to be. I would recommend that users prefer enterprise class drives over consumer or performance drives. As of today (May 6, 2020), the price of a 6TB gold hard drive is less than a 6TB black hard drive. They also have the best MTBF (mean time between failures) to date. If you ask me if it's worth a few bucks more, it's definitely worth it. I'm a PC enthusiast, but my system doesn't work 24/7. Because this product is man-made, it is subject to manufacturing defects. However, by my calculations, if all goes well, this hard drive should last 15-20 years, 30 years at most for me as my PC is working an average of 4.8 hours per day (over the last 6 months). until it makes a lot of noise and gets hot. It literally stays a lot cooler than my Samsung 970 EVO + 2TB NVME. I dumped almost 2TB of data in a room with a constant ambient temperature of 67°F and a hard drive temperature of 98°F. However, all this data is current and only 2 days have passed. I have a lifetime ahead of me and will update my review. One of the great things for users is how much storage space we get on a 6TB hard drive. So I have 5.45 TB of space on a 6 TB hard drive. To learn more, be sure to check out my video review above. I'
