Turns my camera into a webcam

I know they're mostly for gaming but I needed something to turn my camera into a webcam for online video conferencing (like skype, zoom, etc.) . I used to use a Canon camera with the Sparkocam software on Skype and it worked fine but I ran out of Canon cameras and sold all my Canon gear. Unfortunately Sparkocam's customer support is terrible and they don't respond to support emails for other products like Sony, Fuji or Panasonic. So I found this solution. This device is literally plug and play. You will most likely need a micro HDMI to HDMI cable. The micro part goes to your camera. Some cameras have a mini HDMI input. Please remember to check if you need a micro or mini for your camera. The MyPin Game Live Box is about the size of a mobile phone and very light. The build quality doesn't really look like it could take a hit, so be careful with that. On the right is the PWR input. I didn't have any cables to connect it and I was frustrated. Luckily, the devices power up with the included USB cable, which plugs directly into your computer. The easiest way to start Skype is: 1. Connect the MyPin Game Live to your computer.2 Plus a micro (or mini) HDMI cable to your camera.3. Turn on the camera. 4. Opens Skype.5. Locate the Settings tab. Under Audio and Video, select EZCap U3 recording as the preferred camera.6. Bingo! That's all. Please note that it is best to use a camera with a pure HDMI output. This means that your settings are not visible to the person you are chatting with on Skype. Usually, when you look into the camera, you see things like aperture, battery life, shutter speed, etc. With clean output, the person on the other end (including what you see on the screen) is only showing your image, not your settings. If you don't have clean output, this device still works, but part of your frame is occupied by this information. It distracts and annoys me. Most newer cameras have clean output, such as B. Sony, Fuji and Panasonic cameras. I'm not sure if this device doesn't have a higher rating. It is very easy to use and works flawlessly when you connect a camera to it. I highly recommend it.**Updated 8/3/19**I've uploaded a simple video showing how it connects to my computer and how to find the capture card when using something like Zoom. Still a great product that deserves 5 stars.
