I bought this to align a three piece table. 0.0002/10 inch is incredibly sensitive. The same brand size that rhymes with the Barrett listing lists a resolution of .005 x 12 inches. If it makes sense to you and you know how to calibrate it, it's almost half the price of a well-known brand. But I'm chasing my tail with the dimensions of these pool table tops. It seems like every time I lower the level the calibration is lost. When I'm done with this work I'll take this plane apart to check how the vial is attached and the support inside. I saw a homemade level on a mechanical engineering forum and it was mentioned in the thread that these Amazon levels have bubbles made out of glue drops. If so, the solution when opening it is to hold the vial with a rubber band.
