Review on OVERTURE PLA Plus (PLA ) Filament 1 by Draven Invert

Revainrating 2 out of 5

No, just no. Read this entire comment. Its trash

Automatically receives 1 star for delivery time. This was absolute junk in my inventory. 3. Provides good reliable strength (not much. It's more flexible than regular pla so your parts won't be as hard. Tear/shear strength is greatly improved.). it also jams, claps, hisses and creaks. Pops and hisses like hell out of the box after almost a day and a half of fiddling with my hot end and finally just throwing the whole roll away. A black box with a hatch or just regular black plastic inserted into the printer and it ran smoothly without changing the hotend. So it was filament, not a hot end or something I did wrong. I changed the run-in length to 6mm/45mm speed and nothing helped. I changed the hotend (190), the temp was still pouring out of the pipe, the strings are everywhere all the time. I think I ruined about 5 prints before throwing them away and trying another type that sat on the shelf as usual lol. The Hatchbox brand that just sat on an outdoor shelf was 1000% better than this one. Now I know I should stay away from such soft PLA filaments. It's a clog and a rope nightmare. glad it's gone from my store. (I literally threw this stuff out my window) Overture is a really good line of products and if I didn't use their regular Pla I wouldn't even be writing this review. I love this company but it's not a PLA you can just pop in the printer and go. It requires some serious settings tweaking to make something look good. I am very disappointed in this product and cannot recommend it. If you're buying it to test then that's fine, I wouldn't buy much of this stuff without testing. In my experience this has been one of the worst threads I've invested in and I've gotten some wild stuff. Ebay without tags lolol 😅
