This is a nice little radio. I bought it to take with me to the weather alert in the field. It is small and easily fits in a shirt pocket. Once you program it, it works appropriately. Unfortunately, it is extremely difficult to program and the manual is practically useless. Small anti-thumb buttons combined with fine print and small manual (2-1/2" wide x 4" high pages) add up to a very frustrating experience. In addition, the time delay between key presses during programming is insufficient, especially when turning pages in the manual. I'm sure the person who wrote the software there will be no difficulties, but the average user is unlikely to be familiar with this procedure. It also eats up batteries and you have to reprogram them when you change them. A couple of times I got to the point where it wouldn't respond no matter what button I pressed and the batteries had to be removed to get it back to zero.
