Lately I've been working from home in a cold basement. I needed something to keep my hands warm, but all the electric heaters were 1500 watts, too much to share a circuit with my computer. If I were to buy one I would have to remember that it was only meant to run out so I bought this little oil filled radiator instead. It's cute - a miniature radiator. First I put it under the table and never felt warm unless I put my hands under the table directly above. Ever since then, I knew I should put it next to me so there was room for warm air. When I turn it up, the air around me warms up a bit – my legs are fine, but I sometimes have to get my hands close. I forgot to turn it off and when I came back a few hours later it was still working. . I know it doesn't sound good, but to be honest when it generates so little heat I don't think it can do much harm. I think it would be perfect for a small bathroom, something like that. It lives up to expectations as long as your expectations are low.
