Bought to measure CO2 levels in shops and restaurants to identify buildings with a potentially higher risk of COVID due to poor air circulation so we can avoid them. I also noticed that due to the fact that I reinforced the insulation in the attic, my apartment has high CO2 levels and therefore the air conditioning rarely works (S. Kalifas). If there really is a positive relationship between CO2 levels and a higher potential for the COVID virus to be floating in the air, then this gauge will REALLY come in handy for assessing the potential risk of COVID from inhaling the virus. My results show that outdoor areas (e.g. above or around swimming pools) have very low CO2 levels (environmentally <500ppm) and higher CO2 levels at the local grocery store (below average air conditioning?) than local Walmarts and Costco. . The checkout areas are even lower because they are near the front doors, which is good news for everyone. This meter is easy to use. The only trick is that the on/off button has to be pressed very briefly and precisely to switch off the device. I will take it with me on my next flight if I ever fly again. Great science project/educational experiment and this gauge could save your life if you take it everywhere like I did. Be smart and know your risks!
