Description of πŸ” Amprobe CO2-100: A Reliable Handheld Carbon Dioxide Meter for Accurate Monitoring

Handheld digital meter measures ambient level of carbon dioxide (CO2) to monitor indoor air quality and performance of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. Displays current CO2 levels, long-term average CO2 levels measured over an 8-hour period, and short-term average CO2 levels measured over a 15-minute period. Alarm notifies operator when CO2 levels reach or exceed a preset threshold, CO2 measurement up to 9999 ppm. Liquid crystal display (LCD) shows ambient CO2 levels, as well as air, wet bulb, or dew point temperature and humidity. Manual calibration helps ensure accurate humidity and CO2 readings.

Very accurate handheld device; no power pack

ideal for spot measurements. I wish it came with an AC adapter so I can use it as a permanent monitor. They make Mane CO2-200 for stationary installation, but it's not suitable for on-site inspections as it doesn't use batteries.

Very good CO2 meter

This is a very good meter for the price. The device comes in a nice hard case and the digital display clearly labels all items. I use it to check the CO2 level in a small greenhouse. The only problem is that while the basic functions of each button are clearly labeled, some of the more advanced functions like calibration aren't labeled at all. So don't lose the guide. I would recommend this counter.

works perfectly. Measures CO2

Works great so far. Measures CO2, temperature and humidity. Readings are almost instantaneous and definitely accurate. Turn on CO2 and the counter will steadily increase. The controls are a bit clunky, but they work if you take the time to read the manual and set it up properly. I couldn't find a way to turn it off, but it turns off automatically after 20 minutes, and I ended up actually finding it useful so I can control it over time and in multiple locations. Surprised that outdoor CO2 levels

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Very expensive

The Amprobe CO2-100 carbon dioxide meter is useful for obtaining factual data on why a mild headache occurs etc. A dew point solves many problems with perceived humidity and comfort. Although the product is a bit pricey, it is fully functional and has a long 4xAA battery life. The owner must keep in mind that airflow is required through the sensor at the top. Otherwise, the body temperature of the probe may affect the measured temperature reading. The owner may need to create (sweep) an airflow

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Legacy model

PERFECT CO2/RH Meter

Bought to measure CO2 levels in shops and restaurants to identify buildings with a potentially higher risk of COVID due to poor air circulation so we can avoid them. I also noticed that due to the fact that I reinforced the insulation in the attic, my apartment has high CO2 levels and therefore the air conditioning rarely works (S. Kalifas). If there really is a positive relationship between CO2 levels and a higher potential for the COVID virus to be floating in the air, then this gauge will…

CO2 is the elixir of life.

Works great. Check out our 2,000 square foot office, all open plan with partitions. Air conditioning, 7 people in the room. CO2 value at noon at 87 degrees Fahrenheit. The meter read between 1000 and 1200 ppm. Outside it's raining at 75 degrees. F. Amprobe gauge reads 380ppm at rear loading dock in open dock door inside, sheltered from rain. The reason for the difference is that people exhale CO2 and fill the space. The back of the dock where nobody produces CO2. CO2 dissolves well in water and
