Excellent heater with simple and convenient controls

This is a powerful heater that holds the temperature very well. Compared to my 100W heater in the photo, it looks quite bulky, but it fits perfectly in my cichlid tank. The current temperature reading was 76f and I set it to 80f. It took about an hour to get to 80f, which is pretty quick. My marina heater runs for several hours. The temperature stays the whole day, even in a colder room. The temp in my room right now is 70f, the window is slightly ajar and the tank is about 3ft from the window. It ignites when the temperature is 1 degree lower, which is ideal for those with sensitive animals. Some heaters won't turn on until the temperature drops 5 degrees below the desired temperature! With this device, you don't have to worry about sudden temperature changes. I appreciate the external temperature measurement and control module. It comes with a hanging kit and can be attached to the edge of the tank. It takes a few taps to get to the setting you want as there's only one button. He just switches to 93f and starts over. Pressing and holding the button for 5 seconds changes the reading from F to C. The suction cups are very good quality and have not given me any problems but time will tell. power goes out. I tested it by disconnecting and reconnecting it. The setting has always stayed the same. That calms me. The only thing I don't like about the external module is that kids can easily access it. and kids love to press all kinds of buttons. But I'm single and I don't have to worry. Just be careful and mind the temperature settings when the kids come over! Or, better yet, hide it in a far corner. In some cases it blends well, while in others it can look awkward. This must be taken into account. Personally, living doesn't bother me. I'm not a big fan of big glass tubes. My yellow lab cichlids are too big to fit in the chute so I don't have to worry about accidents. I will continue to test this over the coming season and update if there are any changes.
