I had never owned a ceramic frying pan and didn't know what to expect. I have used this pan several times and I am very satisfied with some functions. I've made cheese sandwiches on it. As the cheese melted and dripped onto the ceramic surface, I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't turn into a gooey mess. After cleaning, I was able to take a spatula and just scrape off the cheese without leaving any marks. I also made pancakes. The pancakes cook evenly and slide out of the pan with a touch of my spatula. I didn't have to prep the pan with oil or oil. I can safely say that this is the best frying pan I have ever bought. It's also the most beautiful pan I've ever owned.
