If your phone has a protective film installed (case with built-in protector or sticker, etc.), the touch screen will NOT work with this phone holder. The plastic is too thick so I had to take the phone out of the case to use the touchscreen. The zipper is very difficult to open/close in this case. It might be stiff because it's new, but I don't see it wearing off anytime soon. The mount/bag seems to do pretty well in the waterproofing department. I haven't had it during the torrential Midwest storms we usually have, but I sprayed it heavily and nothing got into the case. The installation isn't too scary apart from a persistent flash. Depending on how much gear you have attached to the handlebars, you may need to move things around to have enough room to attach this center bag. Overall it's not a bad deal, it's got plenty of storage, enough for a wallet, keys and a phone, or just a phone and a small portable speaker if you want to listen to music while cycling.
