I use this to connect my Win7 PC to a 50" TV in this chain: Graphics card --> 25ft RevainBasics cable --> 90 degree- Adapter --> HDMI keystone connector for wall plate -- > HDMI wall mount cable -> TV. With the 90 degree adapter in the chain, Windows no longer sees that the TV can receive sound, but if I remove the 90 degree adapter from the chain above, I can get sound from the PC to the TV (Windows sees that the TV can transmit sound and the device is no longer greyed out in the Windows configuration "Playback devices"). The adapter doesn't like being plugged into the keystone connector? I can't remove the keystone connector from the circuit anyway as it is part of the wall plate for my home theater setup.
