This is a great lens as it was able to capture close-up shots that would otherwise be impossible (I know because I tried!). FEEL like a quality product because it's made entirely of metal and glass, not plastic like many other lenses. Of course it adds weight, but I appreciate the quality feel. It also comes with nice protective caps AND a small drawstring pouch to keep it in. I give it 5 stars for all of the above reasons; However, I have to return it as it does not fit my Nikon D3400 18-55mm lens. I STILL give it 5 stars because nowhere in the company description does it say it FITS this camera/lens. I bought it because someone asked if it would fit or not and someone (a customer, not a company representative I think) said it would. That's why I don't shoot stars. This is a quality product and for the price it does an impressive job. Although it didn't fit in my camera, I was able to hold it to try it out - my only photo is included.
