Nice pickling crock
This is a really nice, user-friendly pickling crock. I like the fact that I can get my big hand into it, when I can't get it into a wide-mouth mason jar. I also like the water seal, but with some cautions: Don't let the seal area evaporate dry. This will expose the two small vents, which will allow mold spores or fruit flies to enter. Also, I recommend adding salt to the water in the water seal, in the usual pickling proportions (5-10%) to make sure the sealing water doesn't bring in contaminants. Overall, well made and ready to go.
