The piece that plugs into the dryer itself can't get any further than the attachment that came with my vacuum. The part that goes into the vent on the outside of the house was the part I really wanted. That also caused me the most problems. Instead of removing the lint covering the inside of the pipeline, he pushed most of it deep inside. I didn't realize it until I turned on the dryer and my clothes stopped drying. I went outside and the air doesn't come out of the vent. I stick this brush in, but it only goes a few feet before it hits something hard. I had to hire a water snake to fish out a hard mass of wet fluff 4 inches deep. I believe it was created by making the brush act more like a plunger than a sweep.
