Only suitable for some 3/8 hoses, otherwise the threads will tear.
Only fits some 3/8" hoses, standard heavier hoses will leave gaps when tightened and strip threads if overtightened. It seems to work well with Amazon's nylon/steel braided hoses, but not standard auto parts store hoses. Also, they look good and do the job, but should cost less due to the thread removal issue.
