I bought these gas struts for my Dodge Ram 3500 05. They have replaced my old ones which have failed since I bought my truck 4 years ago. I've never changed parts like this before, but it was very easy. Now my hood lifts and thank god it finally stays in place. These racks are strong enough to support my heavy hood. Made in the United States which is a huge plus it's so hard to find anything made in the United States. They were affordable too, which is great! Update: It's been at least 6 months and these launches still work like they did when I first got them.
