This little device and the included connector attaches the window glass to the controller. However, they are applied last and all I can say is that the small plug is a pain in the neck to fit. The compression fit would be easy if the assembly were open with a window. But it needs to be installed in the car and you have a tiny hole to insert it. Swearing didn't even help. For the shadow mechanic it is possible. That's me. I parked my Passat under a tree on my front lawn to escape the summer heat of California's Central Valley. But I'm glad it worked out.
