I ran in this hat for the first time this morning and I love it! It's stifling heat outside right now, so any amount of air you can get through your body is good. I liked feeling the gentle breeze brushing right through the hat and over my head. The only problem I had was with the strap. I have a small head and couldn't fasten the strap low enough because the velcro is only on the end of the strap. My solution was to sew on the strap where it should sit and then cut off the excess strap. It really wasn't that difficult. I'm a man. i don't sew But I managed it without any problems. Other posters have mentioned that the hat can appear wrinkled because the material is so light there is no real material inside the hat. That's true, but it didn't look so bad before. I make up for this by contorting my face into a pained expression to draw the eyes of others from my crumpled hat to my sad face!
