We have a full size car and the last cover was ordered specifically for the car. It was made from a canvas like material that was much easier to work with and not as heavy as this car cover. I was looking for a case that would allow me to put it on myself, not sure if that's possible with this one. The lid is shrink-wrapped and a bit difficult to get out of the box, although the included pouch makes storage easier. We tried it on a summer day in New Hampshire, which doesn't seem to be as hot as Florida, but the fabric felt very hot in the car. The back is a kind of soft fabric, but we believe that the heat will be transferred to the car paint, which can't be good! We have yet to test it in wet weather and have no idea as to durability as we've only just received it. The outer shell is made of plastic. On the other hand it fit easily, much looser than our previous cover which ripped because it was so tight. This covers all sides, front and back. However, the cord that ties the cover at the bottom is clearly not enough for a full-size car! We're glad we kept the cords from the last suitcase. We're keeping this case, but we won't be buying the same one again.
