Tuning the antenna according to the instructions for the desired frequency range resulted in very good performance with an SWR value close to 1 and no noticeable loss in transmit power. At first I thought the lower part that fits into the support tube is a bit short to support the weight/length of the antenna, but for now it seems like it should be enough. an internal screw (can be turned with the supplied larger Allen key but appears to be already installed) unless I missed another hole. Will check twice.
