This antenna box was a mess after opening after delivery, missing parts. When the antenna was mounted on a mast, the SWR could not be lowered. It sat on the corner waiting for my Antron 99 to arrive and when it arrived it worked as promised.

Very good alternative to the A-99, Works without any complaints, Can't tell what's different from my A-99, However, I see a big price difference. To be honest, we know that the CB band is very little used today (at least here in North Georgia). For this reason I prefer not to pay too much for a simple antenna.

Tuning the antenna according to the instructions for the desired frequency range resulted in very good performance with an SWR value close to 1 and no noticeable loss in transmit power. At first I thought the bottom part that fits into the tube mount was a bit short to support the weight/length of the antenna, but so far it seems to be enough. a screw (can be turned with the supplied larger hex key but presumably already installed) unless I missed another hole. Will check twice.
