Tuning the antenna according to the instructions for the desired frequency range resulted in very good performance with an SWR value close to 1 and no noticeable loss in transmit power. At first I thought the bottom part that fits into the tube mount was a bit short to support the weight/length of the antenna, but so far it seems to be enough. a screw (can be turned with the supplied larger hex key but presumably already installed) unless I missed another hole. Will check twice.
