A compromise between mountain bike shoes and casual shoes, these shoes are more inclined to casual shoes. For me they are perfect because they look like ordinary shoes. They are comfortable to wear and the sole is stiff enough for everyday use. The sole is made of Vibram, which provides incredible grip on the rocks. Vibram is used in the best hiking shoes. On a recent holiday trip to the coast, I got off my bike to climb some rocks and was blown away by the grip. The downside is that when I step outside onto concrete, my SPD spikes click on the ground. From the inside they look normal. Be careful with the euro sizing, they are really tight.
