Review on Rightline Gear 100B90 Cargo Saddlebag by Tyrone Lee

Used on trips from downtown Illinois to Denver, Colorado so our 2 dogs could occupy the entire back seat/trunk. It rained at times, and one day it snowed heavily in Denver. Nothing got wet in the backpack. It would be nice if it had some sort of rigid construction to make it easier to pack, but if you lay it at least halfway down on the floor and then lift it into the car, you should be able to pack the rest up while it's in the car with no problem . As with other reviews, I would recommend watching a video on how to apply it. It was not clear in the instructions whether the carrier clips should only be used for mounting without a carrier or also for a roof carrier. We have not used the Ford Escape with the roof rack and clips. It would also be great if there was another clip or something to hold the ends of the straps. It loosened a little after a while and had to be tightened, which was a problem when it was attached to the car and tightened from underneath. In general, it was worth leaving the interior of the car free and everything stayed dry!
