Wonderful purchase for the following reasons: 1) Outstanding functionality of these hooks. Most large hooks do not have enough room to thread large yarn (fabric, cord, etc.) through the stitch. They have the perfect shape for that. Nothing slips. 2) Nothing breaks. The head is shaped enough to pierce the stitch and open it up easily, but not so pointed that it separates multiple strands, thick yarn, or toboggans. 3) Comfortable for hands. Good pens. Long enough for a comfortable grip, but not so long that it weighs your hands down or gets stuck where it's not needed on the non-working end. 4) A useful and generous assortment of crochet sewing needles and an eyelet wide enough to act as a needle for threading elastic through cases etc. Carefully packaged in a reusable, easy-to-find clear case. 5) Cute and fun looking with bubbles on the hook handles and a floral print zip pocket that goes with everything. 6) Fabulous price! Quite a lot for about what I would pay for it. It's always a good idea to have different sizes when starting a project to experiment with how tight or loose the stitches should be. I make all kinds of rugs out of t-shirts, yarn and plastic bags, so it's nice to have options. The plastic mold has a burr, but it's not sharp enough to grind through the yarn I'm using. If this were a problem they would be easy to cut with an emery board. Like most US buyers, I've had issues and frustrations with Chinese products, but this one is an absolute winner.
