Ultralight backpack for ultralight workouts

This review is of the Levity 60. This backpack is amazingly light and was designed for weekend camping or ultralight long hikes. Like all Osprey packs, it distributes the weight perfectly across your body, making everything you pack feel lighter than it really is. We already have the Osprey Atmos backpack which is a workhorse with lots of zip pockets, waist pockets etc. It's a backpack built to carry a lot of weight. The Levity is lightweight - weighing just under 2 pounds unloaded - and has a zip pocket. There is absolutely nothing superfluous in this backpack, and it is designed for much less weight - 10-25 pounds, according to my understanding. As such, it's great for an overnight stay or weekend getaway, but still suitable for those traveling light. Some purists can reach less than this weight for longer hikes, but it's not for everyone. If you are an ultra light traveler, this is definitely an amazing backpack. Both my husband and I love it!

  • Camping and hiking
Cons
  • Hard to say
