This was a great postage scale. I've tried using a kitchen scale or bathroom scale before, but I couldn't see the readings. This scale is almost self-explanatory out of the box. It has a power cord but is battery operated so I can move it around my home office when needed. The HOLD function is great. It saves the measurement if you can't see the ad due to the size of the item, it blocks the ad so you can see it when you remove the item! A simple but great feature. I weighed my stuff with different orientations on the scale. No deviations in the measured values. If it was, it was less than 0.1 ounce. The display is easy to read. Function keys have few functions, so you are NOT using a key with many hidden sub-functions to change functions.
