I always use traditional rags; old towels, old flannel pajama bottoms, etc. They sufficed until I moved into an apartment with black appliances, which instantly became the bane of my cleaning (seriously, WHY do people like black appliances?). No matter what I tried, they never looked clean. In desperation I bought these microfiber cleaning towels and can't say enough good things about them. Now I have a pretty clean stove with little effort. They are great for drying my glasses, wiping down my vanity between cleanings, drying my stainless steel kitchen counter and all sorts of household chores. Only downside (if you can call it that) is that the seams shrink a little after washing so the corners don't lay flat when folded, but I don't care how they look in a bag. I highly recommend this product.
