Sucralose in a sports supplement? For real?

This drink tastes like diet soda because it uses sucralose as a sweetener! Sucralose is an artificial sweetener that replaces the oxygen in sugar with chlorine, so our body cannot theoretically digest it. I'm really confused as to why a sports supplement could contain such a toxin. After a long workout we need real sugar to replace all the lost energy. In addition to killing healthy bacteria in our gut, sucralose tastes MUCH sweeter, increasing our tolerance for sweet tastes and giving us more cravings that ultimately can't be satisfied naturally (the chilling lesson on this is "diet coke addiction" in Google ). . I am very concerned that this harsh and unhealthy chemical has been added to an athlete's dietary supplement. I wish there was some kind of international warning label on every diet product that contains fake chemical sweeteners! Finding out after trying a product that a product is dietary is rather uncomfortable. If natural sweeteners were used in this product, that would be awesome. Unless you're comfortable with chlorine-based chemical sweeteners that your body can't digest, avoid this. If you're taking this, you should probably supplement this supplement with a good probiotic to replace all of the healthy bacteria in our digestive system that this product sterilizes.
