I really wanted to love them. I am new to oil painting and am getting used to painting every day. I thought great, these will fit the bill. The price was right, the reviews were good, and shipping actually takes two days with a master account (I have to say, two days doesn't double the speed). In any case, I was ready to go. Arrived well packaged, no problems. The canvas bundle is wrapped in plastic and each individual panel is taped. Again I thought, great, good to go. Then I started drawing. However, I am still a beginner artist. Half the time when I paint I tell myself I have no idea what I'm doing. So it could just be me. and other artists may find them best. However, I just didn't fall in love with these panels. Biggest complaint about the flexing. I painted over half and painted a few and they are crooked. It's hard to draw with them. At first I just had one laying on the easel, so I figured maybe it should be laid horizontally. There is no such happiness. It's good that they bend and bend. I think it's ok. Probably all canvases do this, although the smaller ones I have (another brand) don't. The next topic is reporting. It feels like I'm painting on sandpaper. I'm used to getting canvases from Michaels, the daily painting price pushes me towards the cheaper option. I'm sure it's just me, but I can't say I enjoy the feel of them under my brush. I'll get used to it over time. I will not return or use them. Just don't think I'll buy these again.
