Full disclosure: I am 30 years old and need exercise. It seemed like an inexpensive skateboard for beginners. Size was an issue because I wanted to carry it on the subway with as little fuss as possible. I wanted to buy a plastic penny board but after reading too many reviews I decided I needed a taped board. I also wanted something high quality and gravitated towards a wooden deck. So I ordered this guy for about $30. First of all, I have to say that the quality has completely convinced me. This is a legal skateboard! It's very small and very intimidating at first. However, I already feel much more comfortable on this little guy after about 3 hours of driving. I chose the purple wheels and I love them. faster, but for now I'm a beginner and I'm okay with the extra friction.
