Very well made, strong natural wood, not like the new plastics. The wheels aren't very fast but that's ok as this is my son's first skateboard and he's still learning. He likes it. I'll replace the ball bearings when it goes forward.

Boards, carts, wheels - everything is fine. But the bearings are a joke. Almost no free spins. My new under $15 mini logo bearings spin like crazy and the board rides a lot faster. The stock bearings should really be replaced by the Ridge.

High quality retro style wooden skateboard. This was a gift for my 5 year old son and is the perfect size for him to start skateboarding. I will probably buy another one for my 3 year old daughter as they fight about it all the time.

Nice looking board. Have to agree with the rest, doesn't roll out of the box that well. Replace the red bearings with some bones and it will be a completely different board. Too bad they don't use higher quality bearings in the comb. This board is fun to ride and the wooden deck sets it apart from the penny style plastic boards.

So I have been skateboarding since I was a child and have many different skateboards from street skateboards to downhill longboards, I also have a much more expensive penny board and have to say that I am very impressed with the quality of this board. I think anyone who wants this is wondering should they buy a penny board or this one. This cruiser is my second. I previously bought a Penny Nickle Board. First of all, I would like to say that both the capture tape and the soundboard are legal. And I traveled 3 days with this ridge board, I was a little disappointed. I'm trying to learn to skateboard at 31 and this board is perfect for running. Material and workmanship are really good. I would recommend replacing the bearing with Bones Reds before doing anything. The wheels were also mounted very tightly. The only thing that bothered me was the length of the board, in fact it was easier for me to skate than a long board and a lot less hassle. Drive 4-5 hours, everything is fine. The trolleys are made of metal, the wheels are good, the board is made of wood.
