Review on Lid Holder Spoon Rest Base: Your Perfect Utensil Organizer by Joe Michels

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A well thought-out product is worth its price. The non-slip base is a bonus for a very functional multitasking device!

I love this item. It's difficult to find a good spoon rest with a non-slip base. Amazing in this day and age with sleek granite countertops! But this one works like a charm. I've only been using it for a few weeks, but my husband and I found it very comfortable and functional. I can't believe I've lived without a lid stand for so long! I love the convertible top. So nice to keep it off the counter on hooks over the back of the stove. Lightweight but very durable. Easily holds standard lids of various sizes and weights. The folding arm flexes a bit and feels a little pinched. But I haven't noticed if that's the case, or does it bend because of the heavier caps? So far it hasn't affected his work. While I'm pleased that it has rubber feet, it's odd that they aren't permanently attached and feel fragile/delicate. Not sure about removing this design regularly to avoid rubber wear? This can be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it since you will have to wash it every time you use it. I don't think I'll ever put it in the dishwasher with the rubber feet, but I'm not sure they will hold up to being removed multiple times. I don't know what you would do to replace them if damaged or lost. Everything seems fine now; They stretch well to fit and stay in place, but it's too early to tell in the long term. I plan on hand washing only. Can be perfectly combined with stainless steel appliances.
