Review on 🔌 ACDelco Gold Alternator 335-1023: High-performance and Reliable Auto Power Generator by Dustin Miller

I ordered this to replace my alternator but after installing this part the voltage coming out of the back of the unit showed over 17 volts which is a lot is higher than the range in which it should work. I requested a replacement and was pleased to see how easy it was to get before sending the defective one back, but unfortunately the new alternator was also defective and just wasn't charging the battery at all. I'm sending both back and asking for a refund. I was really looking forward to a new generator without spending more than half the price of this unit but beware you will leave it to luck if you get a generator that actually works, apparently I'm not the only one having this problem . Revane states that this alternator will not fit my car, I have a 1992 Chevy C1500 5.7 liter engine. However, if you look up the part number on the ACDELCO website, a more detailed list of vehicle applications is available and clearly listed.
