Our home wifi does not cover the garage where my husband is trying to set up his office. I was looking for extensions, but then I came across this bridge extension product. I've heard that extension cords don't work well over a distance, so I went with this bridge option, even though it's more expensive. When it arrived we didn't have to put it up or anything. As soon as I connected my home router to the device, another one in the garage, and then plugged in the power, the internet was up and running in the garage after about two minutes. It's really easy in terms of setup. However, no cables were included, so Ethernet cables had to be purchased separately. Also, the mounting option looks like it's only for outdoor use, so I experimented with window mounting, including double-sided tape. Finally, a few hooks from the local store did the trick. Below are some photos. Overall very easy to use, good value for money but it does have to come with ethernet cables. Now we are thinking about connecting Wi-Fi to the pier.
