Edit: Disappointing - DO NOT BUY

Edit: Well, looks like I should put my foot in my mouth. After a while, I started experiencing the random reboots that other reviewers have mentioned. Now I've passed the return window and have to deal with Negear's support. Shame.Edit 2: Netgear support was terrible. They do not offer refunds unless you bought directly from them. You are just sending a different product. What good would it do me if the bug is in a firmware that they have acknowledged and haven't fixed yet.

Works as expected.: Networking products

So far everything is working as expected. I will update my review once I have received the other two devices I ordered. The previous review complained that tools had to be purchased to manage it. If you don't know how to find your access point's IP address in your router's UI and match its MAC address, you shouldn't set this yourself as it's network 101. Seems like they should stick to products that aren't business class as people seem to forget how these items and prices work, it all happensโ€ฆ

Business Class Wi-Fi That Just Works

Among other offerings, my technology services company is installing the network in new offices and new buildings for commercial customers. I've used other well-known commercial products in the past, but for a number of reasons I've chosen Netgear Wi-Fi hotspots as the standard. First, these access points offer excellent coverage, and thanks to Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, their installation is very simple. Installation is very simple, quick and easy (time is money if you're a pro) andโ€ฆ

Terrible Radio, Missing Features

At first glance, that's quite a lot compared to the Zyxel. This Netgear hotspot is no different from the EnGenius hotspot, and its interface is exactly the same, just under a different brand, ie. Netgear. Missing features, no option to disable a/b/g radio, focus only on AC/AX radio protocols. The interface is very common for today's technology. I was very excited to try this and it goes great with my Netgear switch which I like and the UI is way better than that AP GUI. This product seems toโ€ฆ

Random reboots the best in the Computers and accessories category

To give you a quick overview. I run my own IT business and have installed hundreds of hotspots for customers, so I'm well versed in product testing and installation. Brand new AX devices wanted to try and hopefully recommended. I usually use Ubiquiti products but their AX units were on standby until April/May. When I received the devices, they look very nice. plugged in for 48 hours. Devices are randomly rebooted every 4-7 hours. Twice tested POE+ settings and switches. Ubiquiti devices (UAPโ€ฆ

Excellent coverage, no issues and easy to set up

I've had both the WAX214 and WAX218 for a few weeks now to try them out at home and am very satisfied. Since I downloaded and installed the new v1.0.3.3 firmware on June 1st, I haven't experienced the rebooting issue on any device that others are talking about. I needed an access point that would allow me to create multiple SSIDs, create isolated networks, cover a large area, have the latest WPA3 security, and support a growing number of connected devices. Although I'm fairly tech-savvy, I'm no

Great quality and performance at a great price

I didn't know what to expect from this update but I was hoping given my two Netgear switches (GS110EMX and XS724EM) that it would be just as good. I was not disappointed.1. It came with firmware 1.0.1 which I quickly updated to 1.0.3.3 after reading the reviews2. Installation was as easy as can be.3. Some people complained that they had to commit each change after making it. For me it's just good design. This saves us from accidentally doing something lame. 5. Using Apple devices (2017 iPhoneโ€ฆ
