I have two 12 year old cats. It has now been decided that she no longer needs the tray. After numerous environmental changes that didn't work and a huge vet bill, I found her perfectly healthy and acting like a typical stubborn cat. I love her, so of course I put up with this "wonderful" new aspect of her personality. Anyway, I've tried countless products to get the urine smell out of the carpet. I was seriously ready to give up and just rip the rug myself and I saw this product. I thought we could try. This material is amazing, the smell is completely gone and you don't see any stains. I've seen other reviews saying it smells bad. It has what I described as a strong herbal scent. Should my whole house always smell like this? no But the smell goes away quickly. Plus, anyone who has had cat pee on their carpet knows that that smell is a million times worse than anything else. I love this product and would recommend it to anyone I know with pet odor issues. I now have pee pads where my cat pees to stop her peeing on the carpet. But I still use it to remove the odor around the pee pad and litter box.
