They upgraded my laptop from 4G to 8G RAM. Most of my computer is used for network access, regardless of processor speed. But Google recently made each search tab a separate search instance, which drastically increases RAM usage and puts a heavy load on the computer by reallocating unused RAM, making the internet seem slow. (It was actually fast, and used the speed to juggle RAM.) If you upgrade to 8GB of RAM, there's always enough free RAM for each Google Search tab to access unused RAM, and the computer doesn't have to juggle. I thought I needed a new computer, but I needed more RAM and a faster ISP. I am happy with these chips.
