These are 5 star hex wrenches. I'm a mechanical engineer, former state-certified car mechanic and RC hobbyist (among other hobbies). I have a few different tools and brands (snap-on, sk, team losi, craftman etc) but by far this particular brand and style (old vs new is "old") is great for RC building and other projects. The tips have always been strong and the knurled handle provides a good grip on the instrument. I bought these instead of the 'new' style, mainly because I know the 'old' style works great. They don't come with a box (which would be nice), but I'd rather have a good tool than a bad tool with a box. Just FYI, from the picture I posted you can see the bits are shorter than what I've bought in the past. Look at two different 1.5mm instruments to determine the difference in length. It doesn't matter much and will probably help increase durability with a shorter shaft anyway. Buy them without fear. Also, if the shafts ever break, they can be replaced.
