This is the only way to make mashed potatoes with this potato masher because potatoes taste better than anything else. Potatoes were peeled before mashing to avoid clogging the tamper holes. I ate the peel separately. It will be a pleasure for all who use it. It looks like it's made in Italy and is dishwasher safe.
