Definitely stops barking

This bark suppressor works well to stop dogs barking. I immediately connected it to the charger. The light changed from red to blue when fully charged. It has three settings: 20kHz, 22kHz and 24kHz. The guide says 20kHz is for big, naughty dogs. 22 for an obedient dog and 24 for a small dog. As my dog is large I charged the owl up, hung it outside on the balcony barking at any passing neighbor and set it to 20kHz. My dog barked once, shut up and ran in like he was crouching. He was definitely hearing the frequency, and he didn't like it. Twice more that first day he came running into the house, crouched, and I thought the sound was without his barking. So I tried setting it to level II hoping it wouldn't work unintentionally. Unfortunately my dog doesn't go on the balcony anymore. In this respect he has cured him of the unpleasant barking. I decided to turn off the device and bring it inside. I have tried to lure my dog back onto the balcony with treats but he is still not comfortable walking and hanging out on his own. Once I get him back on the balcony, I just have the owl handy and turn it on manually when my dog starts barking.
