Triggers too easily

It works, but the trigger is too sensitive. Simply closing the door activates the device even if it is 20 feet away. Not a very useful bark remedy when it works so easily.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Not sure

Really works! for Educational and Behavioral Aids

I was looking for a bark cure that didn't involve electrocution. This sound solution really works. From the first touch to test the device, I knew the animals were hurt. The device itself is small and unobtrusive. It can be placed next to my door where it is needed most. Good product.

Pros
  • Free for Educational Purposes
Cons
  • Not Sure

Doesn't seem to do anything

This device has a test mode because humans cannot hear the range of frequencies being played when a dog barks. It probably worked, but it didn't look like it, and it didn't harm our dog in any way. We tried it inside, we tried it outside. The pup was surprised but certainly not concerned. We won't be using shockers, so let's return to the vibrating collar, which works from time to time. Too bad, it seemed like a good idea.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • unreliable

Only works on young dogs and should not be left on all the time.

We have a 2 year old corgi and an 8 year old terrier mix and the terrier doesn't give a damn, he's still barking and it doesn't bother him, the corgi notices and comes down with it fine for a few days and then you get used to it or it doesn't matter, I don't know what, but it's ineffective until we turn it off and put it in for a couple of days and then we take it out again and change the setting, and it seems to work for a few more days, when we bring it back a few days later it still turns on

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Battery drains quickly if you live on a busy street

I bought this to prevent my neighbor's dog from barking 24/7. I hung him on a fence post near where he is standing and barking and turned him to face his yard. The first problem I had was that the battery died in 4 days because I live on a busy road and it gets activated by every passing car. The second problem is that it didn't work for the neighbor's dog BUT my own dogs don't go in the backyard anymore because they HATE it and are scared LOL. SO. I don't know if I can recommend this in every…

Only works on younger dogs and should not be on all the time

he still barks all the time and it doesn't bother him, the corgi notices and does fine with it for a few days and then gets used to it or it doesn't matter I don't know what but it has no effect as long as we turn it off and bring it in for a few days and then turn it off again and change the setting and it still works for a few days if we bring it in a few days, it still turns on, so the battery life is at least a couple of days. In general, it works quite well on young dogs, but not on older…

Definitely stops barking

This bark suppressor works well to stop dogs barking. I immediately connected it to the charger. The light changed from red to blue when fully charged. It has three settings: 20kHz, 22kHz and 24kHz. The guide says 20kHz is for big, naughty dogs. 22 for an obedient dog and 24 for a small dog. As my dog is large I charged the owl up, hung it outside on the balcony barking at any passing neighbor and set it to 20kHz. My dog barked once, shut up and ran in like he was crouching. He was definitely…
