Review on MiTBA Champagne Bottle Sealer - Stopper for Perfect Preservation by Kevin Witherspoon

This product works great. My wife and I enjoy the occasional bottle of Mumms or Pipers. We almost always have half a bottle left and I've never found a cork that makes the champagne taste sparkling and fresh. This one did. We used a MiTBA cork on a half bottle of Pipers on March 28th, just before we left for a two week vacation. The instructions included with the packaging were clear, although the bottle clips were a little tricky to attach. I quickly found that they fit perfectly by maintaining downward pressure on the stopper while engaging the clamps. I then pumped the cork until I felt slight resistance and placed the bottle in our fridge. We returned on April 14th and my preoccupation with other things kept me from trying champagne until April 28th. I pressed the cork again and released the clamps, but nothing happened. However, the careful movement of the slightly loosened cork produced a satisfying whistle that told me the pressure had been maintained. The champagne was just as sparkling and delicious as when the bottle was first opened. I am completely satisfied with this product and can only recommend it.
